The NRK TV app was fully redesigned to enhance content discovery, boost mobile and tablet engagement, and introduce a fresh, innovative rebranding.
The redesign introduced a unique “flow of content” concept, curating NRK’s top programming day by day and blending live with on-demand viewing. Deep personalisation let users resume shows, get episode alerts, and explore tailored content, features that were ahead of the curve for public broadcasters.
At launch, the NRK TV app set a new national benchmark for usability and design, and gained international recognition for its thoughtful integration of technology, user experience, and editorial values.
